SPECIAL! PATTON SPEECH Here's a little something special. The opening scene of the movie Patton, starring George C. Scott. The speech is very close to an actual one General George S. Patton made to his troops on their way to Africa, I believe. The speech is very close to what Patten actually said, but was heavily edited for the film, due to his foul language. If you're interested, I found a web page by author Charles M. Province, who did the research and pieced together the actual speech. Very cool! http://www.pattonhq.com/speech.html |
